We are offering teachers the opportunity to stay in an air-conditioned dormitory with single rooms at the Deerfield Academy, a private school ideally located in the Old Deerfield Village Historic Landmark District, literally steps from PVMA and its Teachers’ Center. The dorm will be available Sunday afternoon through Friday afternoon. If you wish to stay until Saturday, you will need to make other arrangements for Friday night.

PVMA also maintains a current link of local motels and bed & breakfasts in a three to five mile radius from Deerfield. Breakfast and a group lunch will be served daily. There will be dinner on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Located one hour north of Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT, the scenic historic village of Deerfield, Massachusetts, is one of the state’s top tourist destinations and is home to many historic museums and houses, educational institutions, cultural centers, state parks, and the Yankee Candle flagship store. Deerfield Academy dormitory charges (as necessary) and the cost of the breakfasts, lunches and three group dinners will be withheld from the stipend checks available at the last session of the workshop.
